There’s still time to get in on the $50 rebate for a pair of Continental TKC70, TKC80, or TrailAttack2 tires purchased before November 30th (see attached form), brought to our attention by the September meeting guest speaker Jeff Reid, the Eastern Regional Brand Manager for Continental Tire. In addition to goodies he handed out, if you send him your name, tire invoice and shipping info directly to jeff.reid@conti-na.com, as a “friend of Jeff” he’ll send you a free Nelson Rigg tankbag*! Also, since we couldn’t get them to play at the meeting, he also sent a link https://www.contiview.de/link/dd00b2f1/ for some of the videos embedded in his presentation.
*I already received mine and will bring it to the meeting for any curious.

“November!”
November is a big time for the Kansas City BMW Motorcycle Club. Along with Thanksgiving, it is also the time when we take nominations for all Club Offices (except for Rally Chair). This is where you get to decide the direction and personality of the club for the next year. That will all take place during our meeting on Monday. Also we will have a presentation about the “new” I-70 Speedway. Along with the track it will include a drag strip and motocross track! Big stuff returns to Kansas City.
It is also time to get your reservations in for out Annual Banquet, Jan 5, 2019. Links are available on our website for both the banquet and room reservations at the Embassy Suites. A lot of effort has gone into reducing the price to $35.00, increasing what we get, securing entertainment, and keeping the price of rooms to year before last’s corporate rate of $119.00. And remember, the first 25 rooms reserved will get complimentary parking in their underground garage.
David Brown has been doing great working on planning for next year’s rally. Expect it to be one for the books!
